The idea for License Plate Safe started by wanting a better way to hide our car key when surfing. We didn’t like traditional hide-a-key magnets or lockboxes which have to hang on the car window or door handle. It was clear others felt the same way. Use it for all your outdoor adventures where you want to leave your keys behind or as a solution for contactless car sharing.

License Plate Safe is designed to fit most cars, trucks, and SUVs where your license plate is mounted. You can place it on the rear or front of the vehicle. The outer dimensions are 12.45" x 6.25" x 1.79".
Specific model pickup trucks made by Toyota and Chevrolet have limited space on the stock rear bumper license plate mount. Please check dimensions. It can still be installed on the front mount.
